WATCH: Sarfaraz spends time in nets to prepare strongly for PSL 8

Wanted or Wild Entertainment official website KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators' skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is practicing hard ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8. Prior to Gladiators' official training camp's commencement, Sarfaraz has started training here at National Stadium. The former Pakistan team skipper has been doing extensive net session for last couple of days. Young cricketers from local cricket academy helped Sarfaraz in training. The cricketer spent long time in the nets while batting and keeping. After the training, Sarfaraz clicked selfies with the young cricketers and shared tips with them. Sarfaraz to bat at top of the order Speaking to media at a local event last week, Sarfaraz said he will try to continue his form from Tests into T20 format."I am confident after my recent performances," said former Pakistan captain who scored a Test-saving century against New Zealand in Karachi in January this year."PSL 8 is very important. I will try to focus on my performance. I will be batting at number three or four this season for Gladiators and will try to give my best," 2019 PSL winning captain added.On February 5, Sarfaraz led Gladiators to victory against Peshawar Zalmi in an exhibition match in Quetta. The cricket-starved city hosted competitive contest after the gap of almost 26 years. After an exciting contest, Gladiators won the match by three runs.
